23rd, lots of power, features and quiet. This is a basic accessory to every sewing machine I have ever owned. At one point in time, my grandfather owned a knitting mill, my father was a textile engineer and my grandmother was a professional seamstress.I have never used a digital sewing machine before.I sew for a living.I love the look of this, it’s aesthetically pleasing.Half an hour out of the box, verified all items included, read the manual, set up shop and wheee! Off I went! Seriously, it’s that easy. Some of my spoils “get happy” and jump the ditch and I’m chasing the spool while I have forgotten to stop the machine.most especially full speed control, feed dog drop, extension table, and being computerized.I did a lot of research and decided that this Janome was just right for my needs and budget.00 for about 25 years ago.It blows my old Singer out of the water. Our group does quilting and this machine does everything I need it to do.cant wait to continue to use this machine on more projects. You get a well made, durable machine for a great value.I was looking for a light weight machine to take to quilters meetings to do piecing.

The price was very good with everything you get with it. My wife was pleasantly surprise on how wonderful this machine is.It has many good features, easy to use, etc.I’m going to read the instructions again regarding the extension table and see if I missed something but I honestly don’t see where it connects.Bernina had issues that couldn’t be corrected so decided on this Janome JW8100 for piecing quilts and other sewing. It sews like a dream and it cost me less than my last repair of the older machine and came with every accessory I could have wanted to get started. This machine however, has such wonderful features like a needle up/down button and a needle threader that made quilting on my home machine much easier. But a few emails to the vendor and they are on the way to me.It had the features that my wife needed for quilting in a very sturdy and easy to use sewing machine.I didnt send back and I’m fine threading it without it. I am new to sewing so I don’t have a lot to compare this machine with but It seems very well built and while it is not super heavy it does have some weight to it.I have used this for travel, classes and now I use it all the time.I had no idea of the helpful innovations that have taken place since then! WOW! I can sew without a foot pedal AND control my speed, at the touch of a button and slider! It will even thread my needle! I love the up/down needle position set also! It runs quietly, makes uniform stitches,100 different ones, and has a nice LED light.I would recommend this for beginners or experienced .After a 3 day retreat she reported that the Janome was wonderful and wishes she let me use her previous machine sooner..Only had a month warranty. This machine is definitely my favorite.

It’s very easy to use and love love love the needle threader. After all, it’s really about how it sews.Glad I decided to leave the bro behind & try something different. So many new options….After a tons of research I finally decided on a Janome and I love this machine! It’s my first computerized machine.Contrary to a previously read comment….I love all the features on it when I use it when I visit! I spent some time doing practice stitching with this machine just because of its newness. This machine has handled everything I have worked on from dance costumes to felt seams for props! The only issue I have with this machine is that it doesn’t sew over multiple layers as promised.I bought it to take on the road as I didn’t want to take my heavy expensive sewing/embroidery machine with me.It was not that thick and others in the group had no proble using their machines.I needed a lightweight machine for retreats and traveling. From unboxing to sewing about an hour.I had a 15 year old Kenmore Elite that I really loved – but it developed a timing issue and our local machine repair couldn’t fix it.I am so glad I made this purchase. It IS light weight but, boy,is it ever a work horse.post-content –> <use xlink:href="http://2azap.I LOVE IT.
